Kraft Plus - October Challenge

Hi. Today I am sharing my entry for the October challenge over at Kraft Plus. For this challenge you need to use Kraft paper and then at least one item from the past! (see below). I have chosen to use some Simple Stories paper back from 2012!! and some red ric rak that I've had stashed away. This LO is of my 4 boys on our recent day trip to Mt Baw Baw to see the snow for the first time. Believe it or not the papers are actually called "Summer Fresh" but I found they are good to use all year round!

Kaisercraft - July Challenge

Hi. Today I am sharing with you my entry for the July challenge over at http://www.kaisercraft.com.au/blog/
This month was a sketch challenge. I have had some left over "Class Act" and "Class of '87" papers so I thought I would take the opportunity to use them to scrap my son Chaz's Prep photo taken in June. I hope you like it and thanks for looking. Nelle.

Scrap the boys - July Challenge

Hi. As I said I have been able to do a little scrapping this month and I have really enjoyed my time doing it. This post is for the July Challenge over at http://scraptheboys.blogspot.com.au/  This challenge was inspired by the picture below

We had a lovely holiday in April to a place called Merry Beach and I had some perfect photos of my son Tom to scrap playing on his boogie board.
Thanks for looking - Nelle.

Show us your stuff - July Challenge

Hi. Well I have had a chance to do a bit of scrapping this month, so I have used the Challenge sites once again as my inspiration. This challenge has come from http://showusyourstuff.blogspot.com.au/ . I find this a great site. This month was a colour challenge (see below) and I have used Petaloo handmade flowers as my handmade embellishment. The photo is of my youngest Mitch enjoying the snow in the July school holidays. I hope you like it. Thanks for looking - Nelle.

And here is my take

Show us your stuff - June Challenge

So it appears this year is fast disappearing and I am not getting much of a chance to scrap! I did however manage one challenge this month from Show us your Stuff. http://showusyourstuff.blogspot.com.au/
The challenge for this month is below

I have done a LO of my 3rd son Chaz feeding a dolphin. My abandoned item is some twine, stickers and rhinestones and my handmade items are the cute little wooden buttons from Cocoa Vanilla.
I hope you like it.

Thanks for looking - Nelle.

Scrap the boys April Challenge

Hi. Wow where has that month gone? I certainly didn't get very creative this month. I did do one challenge which is one of my favs. Over at Scrap the boys they had a "my daddy, my hero" challenge. I changed this up a bit (hope that's ok) and created a LO of my 3 eldest boys with their Grandad (my Dad) after he marched in the ANZAC parade in 2015. I thought this photo was perfect for this challenge as in the eyes of our family he is a true "hero".
Hope you like it. Thanks for looking - Nelle.

Show us your stuff March challenge

Wowsers I have been creating heaps lately and this is another challenge site I have come across. It's http://showusyourstuff.blogspot.com.au/ . They have provided a fantastic sketch to use and you also have to include handmade embellishments. I have used a great photo of my eldest son Jack taken on Christmas Day 2014.My handmade embellishments are the silver cogs that I have die cut. I hope you like it and thanks for looking - Nelle.

Stuck Sketches March 1st sketch

Hi again. Following on from my other updates here is another fantastic challenge site I have come across to give me a great starting point. It's http://stucksketches.blogspot.com.au/ . I'll definitely be using this again in the future as I love to have a sketch as a starting point. I think sketches are a fantastic challenge as it allows you to stay true to your own style. My style is clean and simple. I have used photos from our visit to Dubbo Zoo last year and have included a gorgeous one of my 3rd son Chaz. I hope you like it and thanks for looking - Nelle.

123 Challenge Blog

Hi. So I have decided to try and do more challenges this year. Not only do I find they give me inspiration and a great starting point but I'm also hopeful to one day win a prize on one! So I "googled" some Australian challenge sites and came across this little ripper http://123-challenge-blog.blogspot.com.au/ . This challenge for March had 3 points to follow 1. Autumn tones, 2. Use the word Memories, 3. Make sure your LO includes Leaves. I had the perfect photos to use of my eldest son Jack with his Nan last May showing her around their Kitchen garden at school. Below is the challenge and then my take on it. I hope you like it. Thanks for looking - Nelle.

Kaisercraft March Challenge

The photo is of my 4th beautiful boy Mitch when he was 3 weeks old. I loved this sketch as it was nice and simple which really suits my scrapping style. I hope you like it. Thanks for looking - Nelle.

Scrap the Boys Feb Challenge

Hi again. Wow 2 challenges in a month - I'm starting to get on track this year!! Today I'm sharing my entry for Scrap the Boys sketch challenge. I had trouble with this sketch to start with as my original idea just did not work, so I started over and I am pretty happy with the result. I'm loving clean and simple at the moment. It was my original style and after dabbling in other styles I have returned to it. Below is the sketch and then my interpretation. The photo is of my youngest on his 1st birthday. Thanks for looking - Nelle...

Kaisercraft February Challenge

Oh my I can't believe it was last April when I last entered a LO on a challenge site. This year I am determined to enter more as I do use a lot of sites for inspiration but find I either don't finish in time or I forget to load them up!!
This month I have used the Mood Board over at Kaisercraft. I had some of their wonderful Sandy Toes collection that was perfect for this. The photo is of my eldest son Jack taken on our 6 week trip up "North" last year. I hope you like it. Thanks for looking - Nelle.
