Kaisercraft July Challange

Hi. I finally got some time to scrap this month. I chose the Kaisercraft July Challenge to inspire me as I really liked the colours and layout of the challenge. The photos are of a very bittersweet moment. They are of my eldest son Jack saying his "goodbyes" to our beautiful dog Lily back at the end of April. She was very sick with cancer and we put her to sleep the following day. I felt it was important to document this for him so he can reflect on this special time later on.
Below is the "inspiring" LO and then below that is my take on it.
I hope you like it. Thanks for looking - Nelle.

Kraft Plus April Challenge

Hi. This challenge made me think outside the normal supplies for scrapbooking. The challenge over at Kraft Plus was to create a LO that incorporated paint swatches. I decided to opt for a photo of my boys meeting their new little cousin. I used the paint swatches to create the hearts through my cuttlebug. I was pretty happy with the end result, although for some silly reason my camera was playing up and refused to give me a nice clear photo of the papers!!
Thanks for looking - Nelle.

Scrap the Boys April Challenge

Hi. Well I'm slowly getting some scrapbooking done this year! Today I'm sharing my LO I did for the April challenge over at Scrap the Boys. This month was to create a LO showing your little boy helping your big boy! My LO is of my youngest Mitch helping mow the lawns. He loves to help outside especially if it involves machinery or dirt!
Thanks for looking - Nelle.

Show us your Stuff - January 2017

Hi. I'm sharing my entry for the January challenge over at "Show us your stuff". This month was a mood board.
January Challenge

I took inspiration from the colours and the "summer" story. My LO is of my son Chaz lazing in his Aunties hammock on a hot summer day after having a swim in her pool. The vibrant colours of the hammock are so bright just like the top right corner. My handmade items are from Cocoa Vanilla.
I hope you like it. Nelle.

Kaisercraft January 2017 challenge

Hi. Today I am sharing my entry for the Kaisercraft challenge for January. This challenge was a bingo card challenge and also a pocket page challenge. I have started to venture into the world of pocket pages so that I can include so many more photos to tell my story in scrapbooking. I have used an old set of Kaisercraft "captured memories" cards that I have been holding onto. It was the December 25th collection. I have also tried to "jazz" it up by adding some fussy cutting and mounted tape as well as some "bling".
